Does your child devour books so fast that you can’t replace them quick enough? Do they want to meet other children from international families and discuss the books they have read? Do you want to meet other Parisian parents?
Well, you are in luck.
This is why we are partnering with Message Paris for a community children’s Book Swap on July 4th, 2026 in our premises in the 17th district of Paris. At ABI School, we believe that reading can be much more than a solitary activity - it is something that has the power to bring people together. We are delighted with this collaboration that aims to bring together a warm community of expat children and their parents.
The rules are simple:
📚 Each child can bring 1-3 books in a good and clean condition. Please bring only books that you would be happy to give to another child.
📚 Books can be in different genres - joke books, picture books, graphic novels, series books or chapter books.
📚 Each participating child will get a numbered ticket for their turn during their swap. They can choose to pick out the same number of books that they bring to the swap.
📚 The event starts at 10:30 at ABI School (12 rue Claude Pouillet, 75017 Paris). The swap will begin at 11:00
