Creating a More Equal School Environment: 4 Ideas Will Make a Difference at ABI SCHOOL

Every student deserves a fair shot at learning, growing, and feeling safe at school. Here are 4 equality initiatives that our school is adopting to create more inclusive and supportive spaces for all learners:

1️⃣ Inclusive Curriculum

We will be teaching history, literature, and perspectives from a wide range of cultures, identities, and backgrounds.

2️⃣ Equitable Resources

We will be making sure students who need extra help—whether it’s tutoring, tech, or lunch support—can get it, no questions asked.

3️⃣ Bias Awareness Training

This will help our staff and students recognise and reduce unconscious bias and discrimination through open conversations and workshops. Our staff, composed of an international group of people, will help everyone feel included.

4️⃣ Student-Led Equity Groups

We will be giving students a voice! Equity councils and leadership programs help students lead change from within.
