Playing is fun — but it’s far from just that. Through games, we communicate, understand, learn, entertain ourselves, simulate reality, imagine new worlds, and even free ourselves. From the simplest forms like rock–paper–scissors to role-playing games such as D&D or modern video games, every game carries its own strengths and driving forces, often embedded directly in its rules.
Join us to both create a game that truly reflects you and discover game types you may never have considered before. Together, we will explore games not only as entertainment, but as powerful tools for reflection, learning, and expression.
You will dive into:
- Raising awareness of predatory game design
- Key questions to ask yourself when creating a game
- Games as tools to learn new skills
- The deeper purpose of playing
- Specific aspects such as rules and cheating, fair and unfair games, and more
Come play, think, and create — differently.
