As an alumna of the HEC Executive MBA, I was especially proud to see this conversation led by Professor Jeremy Ghez, whose course Business Environment remains one of the most impactful parts of the EMBA journey—alongside Corporate Strategy with Professor Georg Wernicke, who also spoke powerfully on the final panel.
One standout moment came from Patrice Kefalas of Michelin, who reminded us that even in 2025, “we still need to bring more women into science.” This resonates deeply with our mission at Alliance Bilingual International School, where we are nurturing a new generation of multilingual, compassionate innovators—with special focus on girls and underrepresented learners in STEAM.
🔍 In a world that is becoming more fragmented, the role of education is more vital than ever.
We are grateful for the insights shared by brilliant minds including:
• Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric
• Brad Setser, Council on Foreign Relations
• Susan Helper, Case Western Reserve University
• Georg Wernicke, HEC Paris
• Clotilde Bômont, EUISS
• Maaike Okano-Heijmans, Clingendael Institute
• Guillaume Girard, Jolt Capital
• Patrice Kefalas, Michelin
• And many others who are shaping strategy at the crossroads of business, society, and geopolitics.
A sincere thank you to the organizers, including Prof. Jeremy Ghez, Prof. Olivier Chatain, and IRSEM, for curating such a timely, impactful event.
