As a school focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) pedagogies we find it necessary to keep up with the latest developments in the intersection of technology and education: to learn what is new in these fields - and how to teach it best to kids!
It was a wonderful experience. We were able to get in touch with the main actors in the sector, learn new educational tools and meet some interesting robots as a team. It was an essential reminder on the importance of integrating technology in the classroom in an ethical and responsible way that doesn’t take away from the present day, hands-on learning and one-on-one human communication.
Thank you to the organisers and participants for this great opportunity and we hope to learn and grow alongside them in the future. Come and find us there on day 2!
