ABI School, in collaboration with ABI Association, will be holding three free events aimed at children ages 3 to 12 and their parents, with the goal of promoting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) education.🧪🔬💻👾🎨
They will be held on July 15th, 22nd and 29th respectively, at the 8th district Maison des Associations (28 rue Laure Diebold, 75008 Paris).
Please find the detailed descriptions of each event below:
🧩July 15 from 3 pm-5 pm
Design Your Own Game:
How We Learn Through Play. Why do we love to play games? Explore the power of play to spark learning, creativity, and problem-solving. Children will brainstorm and create their own simple game alongside their parents.
🔍July 22 from 2 pm-5 pm
Math Meets Mystery: A Forensic Detective Game:
Put on your detective hats! In this hands-on mystery adventure, children will become junior detectives, using observation skills, math, logic, and a touch of biology to solve a playful “whodunit.” They’ll examine clues, explore how forensic science uses biology (like fingerprints or DNA), and practice real-world problem-solving — all while having fun and discovering how STEAM fields work together to crack the case.
🤖July 29th from 2 pm-5 pm
AI Exploration Through Games.
Dive into the fascinating world of AI through a hands-on experience. Put your programmer hat on and learn to explain to a robot how to guess the mood of a person from a handshake. Children will learn about the basic concepts of coding and programming, and create their own algorithm.
