When does ABI School open?

ABI School opens in September 2026.

Registrations are open.

Where is the school located?

ABI School is located at 10–14 rue Claude Pouillet, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris (75017), close to public transport and easily accessible for families across the city. The closet metro stations are Villiers and Pont Cardinet.

Do children need to speak English or French?
No. We welcome children with different language backgrounds. Our bilingual environment is designed to support language development progressively and naturally, so children can join even if they speak neither language at the start.
What curriculum do you follow?

ABI School offers a bilingual STEAM-focused education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The program combines academic learning with project-based, hands-on activities while fostering creativity, resilience, curiosity and critical thinking.

STEAM Without Screens - Learning by Doing:

At ABI School, science, engineering, arts and mathematics come alive through hands-on building, experimenting and creating with real materials. No tablets, no apps, just real curiosity and two capable hands.

What are the class sizes?
We deliberately keep classes small, typically 12 to 15 students. This allows for individualised attention, active participation, and strong relationships between students and teachers.
How does bilingual learning work at ABI School?

Children learn in both English and French throughout their school experience. The approach is adapted to each age group:

TPS (ages 2–3): two teachers are present at all times: one French-speaking and one English-speaking, so children naturally associate each language with a person.

Maternelle and Primary (3–12): structured time-based immersion, half of the week is taught by an English-speaking teacher and the other half by a French-speaking teacher, ensuring balanced exposure to both languages.

Secondary (12–16): the immersive structure continues, with subjects taught in English and French in balanced proportions so students develop strong skills in both.

What are the school hours?
Classes run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After-school activities (until 6:30 p.m.) and Wednesday workshops are available with separate registration.
Can international students apply?
Absolutely. We warmly welcome international, expatriate and multilingual families relocating to Paris or joining from abroad, and we provide a safe and inclusive environment that helps children integrate into French culture.
What support is available for newly arrived families?
We understand that moving to a new country or school can be a major transition. ABI School supports families through personalised communication, guidance, family meetings, cognitive assessments to inform learning, and mini-workshops offered in English, French or in bilingual format.
How does the admissions process work?

How are families involved in school life?
We work closely with families through regular meetings, parent workshops and bilingual mini-sessions on parenting and learning topics, and we offer help navigating social or administrative situations when needed.
Does ABI School teach STEAM without screens?

Yes, and this is a deliberate, research-informed choice. At ABI School, STEAM learning is rooted in direct physical experience: children build, experiment, observe, create and solve problems using their hands and their senses, not a screen.

In practice, this means science through real experiments with materials and tools; engineering and design through construction kits, cardboard, clay and recycled objects; mathematics through manipulatives, games and spatial reasoning; arts through drawing, painting, sculpting and making; and technology concepts taught through logic, sequencing and unplugged coding activities, no device required.

This approach develops deeper understanding, stronger fine-motor skills, genuine curiosity and the ability to persevere through real challenges, qualities that no app can replicate. Screens are introduced gradually and purposefully only when they add clear educational value, and always under close teacher guidance.
